CANDID V GEL 30GMS is primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm and other fungal skin infections. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (flaking or scaling of the skin). CANDID V GEL 30GMS works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. CANDID V GEL 30GMS destroys the infection by allowing the holes to open in the cell membrane and the components to leak out. This kills the fungus and cures the infection.
CANDID V GEL 30GMS should be used for skin only and accidentally if it gets into your eye, mouth or nose rinse with water. CANDID V GEL 30GMS should be applied to the affected area with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab. CANDID V GEL 30GMS should not be applied more than the recommended dose, to avoid unpleasant side effects. Some common side effects of CANDID V GEL 30GMS are burning, itching, redness, stinging and dryness on your skin in the place where CANDID V GEL 30GMS ointment is applied. Avoid putting CANDID V GEL 30GMS near your mouth, lips and eyes. This product contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions (like contact dermatitis). Tell a doctor before using CANDID V GEL 30GMS if you are using Framycetin and Dexamethasone ear drops as it can interact and affect the working of CANDID V GEL 30GMS. If your baby is being treated for oral thrush you can continue breastfeeding. But in some cases, you might need to be treated at the same time. If you are applying CANDID V GEL 30GMS on your breast or nipple try to wash it before breastfeeding your baby.
