B Long F tablet contains contains Pyridoxine and Folic acid. It is a nutritional supplement generally given to Cardiovascular patients to maintain complications related to Cardio Vascular Disease.
Folic acid is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia.
Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) is the master vitamin in the processing of amino acids—the building blocks of all proteins and some hormones. It also aids in the production of red and white blood cells needed for immunity and plays a role in the metabolism of proteins and fats.
