BUDETROL 200MG INHALER belongs to the respiratory combination medication primarily used to treat asthma symptoms and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty breathing. COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes).

BUDETROL 200MG INHALER is a combination of two drugs: Budesonide (corticosteroid) and Formoterol (LABA – long-acting beta-agonists or bronchodilator). Budesonide belongs to the corticosteroids class that works by reducing the irritation and swelling by acting inside the nasal passage and airways lining cells and stops the release of certain chemicals responsible for causing inflammatory reactions and allergies. Thereby, it provides relief from sneezing, runny or blocked nose and sinus discomfort. On the other hand, Formoterol belongs to LABA – long-acting beta-agonists or bronchodilators that relaxes and widens respiratory airways muscles, making it easier for asthma and COPD patient to breath.

BUDETROL 200MG INHALER is available in the form of rotacaps, inhaler, respules, transhaler and transcaps. Your doctor will recommend you how often you take BUDETROL 200MG INHALER based on your medical condition. Some people may experience fungal infection in the mouth, headache, sore throat, hoarse voice, upper respiratory tract infection, flu, cough, back pain, increased heart rate, and trembling. Most of these side effects of BUDETROL 200MG INHALER do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to lactose (a form of sugar) or have lactose intolerance, BUDETROL 200MG INHALER or any other ingredients, please tell your doctor. Prolonged use of LABA (long-acting beta-agonists) or vasodilators drugs may cause symptoms like chest pain (angina), increased blood pressure (hypertension), a fast and irregular heart rate (palpitation), headache, tremor, and nervousness.

Uses of BUDETROL 200MG INHALER

Directions for Use

Inhaler/Transhaler: Shake the inhaler well and check the label for directions before using BUDETROL 200MG INHALER. Take BUDETROL 200MG INHALER daily at the same time to maintain a consistent level of BUDETROL 200MG INHALER in the body. While you breathe BUDETROL 200MG INHALER from the mouth, press down inhaler once to release the medicine and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Repeat until you have inhaled the number of puffs as advised by your doctor. Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after using BUDETROL 200MG INHALER to avoid fungal infections in mouth and throat. Rotacaps/Transcaps: Use BUDETROL 200MG INHALER as advised by your doctor. The capsule should be placed at the base of rotahaler and completely twist the mouthpiece until you hear a click sound. Then, breathe in through the mouthpiece deeply and hold your breath for 10 seconds. BUDETROL 200MG INHALER is for inhalation only. Do not swallow BUDETROL 200MG INHALER. Respules: Use BUDETROL 200MG INHALER in dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before using BUDETROL 200MG INHALER. Twist the respule top, squeeze all the liquid into the nebulizer and use immediately after opening.
