About BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML
BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML belongs to a group of medicines called anti-spasmodic agents used to relieve abdominal cramps that cause pain and discomfort associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Additionally, BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML is also used to treat stomach pain, intestinal cramps, bladder cramps, and period pain. Irritable bowel syndrome is a gastrointestinal disorder that mainly affects the large intestine.
BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML contains ‘Hyoscine butyl bromide’ that stops the muscle contractions by relaxing the muscles in the stomach, intestine, and bladder. Thereby provides relief from cramps, discomfort, and pain.
You can take BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML with or without food. Take BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML as prescribed. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, abnormal/reduced sweating, and fast heart rate. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
Do not take BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML if you are pregnant, likely to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML may cause blurred vision, so drive only if you are alert. BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML is not recommended for children below 6years as the safety and effectiveness have not been established. BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML should not be given to children below 12years for treating irritable bowel syndrome. Drug Warning
Do not take BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML if you are allergic to any of its contents if you have glaucoma, myasthenia gravis (muscle problems), blockage of the bowel, paralytic/obstructive ileus, or enlarged bowel. Inform your doctor before taking BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML if you have severe constipation, blood in stools, loss of appetite, difficulty passing urine, fever, fast heart rate, severe sweating problem, or if you are 40years or above. Do not take BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML may cause blurred vision, so drive only if you are alert. BUSCOGAST INJECTION 1ML is not recommended for children below 6years as the safety and effectiveness have not been established.
