About CANDID LOTION 20ML
CANDID LOTION 20ML is primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm and other fungal skin infections. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (flaking or scaling of the skin). CANDID LOTION 20ML works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. CANDID LOTION 20ML destroys the infection by allowing the holes to open in the cell membrane and the components to leak out. This kills the fungus and cures the infection.
CANDID LOTION 20ML should be used for skin only and accidentally if it gets into your eye, mouth or nose rinse with water. CANDID LOTION 20ML should be applied to the affected area with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab. CANDID LOTION 20ML should not be applied more than the recommended dose, to avoid unpleasant side effects. Some common side effects of CANDID LOTION 20ML are burning, itching, redness, stinging and dryness on your skin in the place where CANDID LOTION 20ML ointment is applied. Sensitive allergic reaction (skin hypersensitivity reactions) like rashes, itching, swelling, and hypotension can occur in rare cases. Avoid putting CANDID LOTION 20ML near your mouth, lips and eyes. This product contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions (like contact dermatitis). Tell a doctor before using CANDID LOTION 20ML if you are using Framycetin and Dexamethasone ear drops as it can interact and affect the working of CANDID LOTION 20ML. If your baby is being treated for oral thrush you can continue breastfeeding. But in some cases, you might need to be treated at the same time. If you are applying CANDID LOTION 20ML on your breast or nipple try to wash it before breastfeeding your baby.
