Side Effects of Cetzine 10mg Tablet 10’s
Most of the side effects of Cetzine 10mg Tablet 10’s do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor. Sleepiness, drowsiness, nasopharyngitis (sore throat), fatigue, and dry mouth in children of 12 years of age and adult has been reported. While fever, sleepiness, drowsiness, cough, and epistaxis (nose bleeding) can occur in children 6 to 12 years of age.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking Cetzine 10mg Tablet 10’s, consult your doctor. If you have kidney problems, dose adjustment might be required; the doctor will do it depending upon your disease’s condition. Please inform your doctor if you have a problem passing urine and have epilepsy (fits) before starting Cetzine 10mg Tablet 10’s. If you are supposed to undergo skin testing, the doctor might advise you to stop taking Cetzine 10mg Tablet 10’s 72 hours before the test as it decreases response to skin prick test. Patients should be cautioned against getting engaged in the work which required too much mental alertness like operating machinery or driving a motor vehicle after intake of Cetzine 10mg Tablet 10’s. Concurrent use of Cetzine 10mg Tablet 10’s with alcohol or other antidepressants should be avoided as it can reduce your mental alertness. The daily dose in adults and children 12 years of age and older should not take more than 5 mg once daily. Besides this, in children 6-11 years of age, the recommended dose is 2.5 mg once daily. Patients should avoid taking over dosage of Cetzine 10mg Tablet 10’s because of the increased risk of sleepiness and drowsiness at higher doses.
