Those three particular ingredients are items that are used by the body to block the development of UV rays in the skin as they go through many layers of skin to stop sunburns from developing. Zinc oxide is used to carry these ingredients and will move into the skin to ease it and keep it from feeling sore. This also helps to keep moisture under control.
